Guy Pearce Says Kevin Spacey Was a ‘Handsy Guy’ on Set

Guy Pearce Says Kevin Spacey Was a ‘Handsy Guy’ on Set

The Australian actor did not go into further detail about what Spacey's "handsiness" entailed.

Pearce shared the screen with Spacey in 1997's cult classic LA Confidential.

The actor made the comment about his former L.A. Confidential co-star during a chat with Andrew Denton for the show "Interview". "Tough one to talk about at the moment", admitted Pearce. Guy, however, did compliment Kevin on his acting skills, saying he was an "amazing" and an "incredible" performer. "Slightly hard time with Kevin, yeah".

Pearce stated he was a "handsy guy".

Making the most of Pearce's long history in Hollywood, Denton asked the Australian actor for his opinion on a couple of high-profile people he's worked with over the years.

Kevin Spacey issued a unusual, unsuccessful apology to Anthony Rapp. There are also investigations into Spacey taking place in MA and California.

Actor Anthony Rapp says Kevin Spacey climbed on top of him and tried to seduce him when he was 14. I'm beyond horrified to hear his story'.

"But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years". As those closest to me know, in my life, I have had relationships with both men and women. Spacey later apologized in a statement in which he also announced that he was choosing to "live as a gay man". "I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behavior".

Spacey was sacked from the show shortly after the allegations came out. Scotland Yard has opened multiple investigations into alleged assaults in London.

Film and television studios have cut ties with the actor since the allegations made headlines, and hit Netflix series House Of Cards is set to return for a new season without Spacey in its leading role.

As a result of the allegations against him, the movie that was slated for release at the time, All The Money In The World, had his parts edited out and replaced with Christopher Plummer.
