In an ironic twist of fate, it seems that the wildling girl was actually royalty after all, as her family are descendants from King Charles II, and they do actually own a castle. But fans of Rose Leslie and Kit Harington in particular need not fear, because their marriage is off to a much better start than the TV show's red wedding ever was.

Guests included the pair's "Game of Thrones" co-stars Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke, the AP said.

Kit and Rose, who played doomed Jon Snow and Ygritte on the hit HBO show, exchanged vows in the Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland. She was accompanied down the aisle by her father Sebastian Arbuthnot-Leslie. Sophie Turner was seen arriving into Aberdeen airport on Friday, with the wedding set to be a star-studded affair.

The couple, who met on set in 2012, announced the engagement in the Times newspaper last September, and the wedding date was submitted to the local registry office last month. Harington and Leslie jumped into their old vintage auto to continue the celebration at the bride's family estate Wardhill Castle for their reception with their 200 guests. Other "Game of Thrones" actors spotted at the nuptials were John Bradley, Joe Dempsie, and Ben Crompton.

"Games of Thrones" stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie got married on Saturday in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
