Jose Mourinho Reportedly Withdraws Manchester United Interest in Danny Rose

Rose was touted as a prime target with the Telegraph claiming that United have been eyeing a swoop for the £55m-rated England global - who's expected to leave White Hart Lane after falling out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino last season with Ben Davies Tottenham's first choice left-back.

But it's reported that Mourinho still wants to shore up his back four, telling vice chairman Ed Woodward to focus on central defence.

Jose Mourinho has managed to lure in Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred and Porto's Diogo Dalot so far but is still in the hunt for a top quality, experienced centre-back.

Manchester United are reportedly pondering a summer move for a new full back as we round up the latest rumours on Tuesday, June 12.

Next and the Mirror are reporting that United have been offered the chance to sign Marco Verratti as his agent, Mino Raiola, looks to find the midfielder a way out of Paris Saint-Germain. The report claims that the £20,000-a-week England star wants more starts despite being involved in most matchday squads.

A transfer to Old Trafford would be a dream move for Rose and he was hoping that a £50m switch would be agreed after the World Cup.

"I was on medication for a few months - again, nobody knows about that apart from my agent - but I'm off the medication now, I'm good now and looking forward to how far we can go in Russian Federation".

But the former Tottenham man won't be at the World Cup this summer as Wales failed to qualify for the tournament in Russian Federation.
