Earlier today during their conference, Ubisoft showcased some footage of The Division 2, and now, after the conference, the game is getting some more love in the form of a half-hour stream of the game played as we watch. Set in Washington D.C., The Division 2 will continue exploring the unique ideas that open up when society as we know it ends. Developed with an endgame-first mentality that emphasizes each player's strategic freedom, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 builds on more than two years of listening to and learnings from The Division community to deliver an even richer and deeper experience.
In addition, Ubisoft will allow players to choose one of three character specialization-sharpshooter, demolitionist, and survivalist-after finishing the main game's storyline. "These paths introduce new skill mods, talents, and tools, including brand new signature weapons", the developer explained.
The Division 2 releases on March 15th. Post-launch content will provide new challenges and fresh gaming innovations. Playing solo or co-op with a team of up to four players, you can complete story-driven campaign missions or take part in PvP matches against other players in the Dark Zone, the game's multiplayer arena.
