The Quiet Man is Square Enix's latest game shrouded in mystery

Share

Just Cause 4 launches on December 4th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

We've seen plenty of times that Kingdom Hearts III will feature the Pixar portion of Disney.

The game might have been delayed to late January 2019 but that doesn't mean Square Enix has nothing to show at E3 2018 when it comes to Kingdom Hearts 3 though. This trailer focused instead on the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean. It looks like being even more chaotic than ever (if you can believe that) and is bound to provide great filler for YouTube compilations for the months after its release. Dragon Quest XI: Edition of Light will come with DLC. But we already knew about Just Cause 4.

Really, the only two titles we had no clue about going into the showcase were The Quiet Man and Babylon's Fall.

We'll be seeing a lot of the games in the flesh over the next couple of days, so we'll be able to talk about them in more detail then.

A brand new game from Square Enix, Babylon's Fall takes place in the far future and perhaps mimics the fall of real-world Babylon in 500s BCE. The teaser showed nothing worth clinging to otherwise.

After an exciting day full of announcements from Microsoft and Bethesda on Sunday, Square Enix is kicking things off on Monday with its first E3 press conference since 2015.

But, there were a few reveals that made Square Enix's showcase worth checking out.

Other trailered games included Nier: Automata: Become As Gods, Octopath Traveler, Dragon Quest XI, Under the Moonlight, Monster Hunter World and Stormblood. It's not just for the sake of their fans, but for the sake of their public image.

Unfortunately for Square Enix, the slew of trailers thrown in felt underwhelming since majority have already been seen before- many of them were shown at Microsoft's conference on Sunday.
