Douglas Costa has wrapped up a permanent switch to Juventus, who have paid €40million to sign the Brazil global from Bayern Munich.
Costa was in England with the Brazil squad preparing for this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation when Juve confirmed his transfer had been made permanent.
"Juventus have exercised the option for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich for EUR40 million to be paid in two financial years", Juve said in a statement.
The wing wizard scored six times and recorded 14 assists during his loan spell in Italy and became a prominent figure across Juve's attack, featuring on both flanks and also in a central role when required.
"The consideration may increase €1m upon the fulfilment of certain conditions over the course of the duration of his contract".
Costa joined Bayern from Shakhtar Donetsk for 30 million euros in 2015, but struggled to follow up on his strong debut season in the 2016/17 campaign before moving to Italy.
