Mauricio Pochettino to Chelsea?

Sky Sports report that Chelsea are considering an approach for Pochettino if, as expected, Conte moves on this summer.

Spurs sealed Champions League football for a third straight season by finishing third in the Premier League despite having reportedly just the sixth highest wage bill behind Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Conte has followed up his title-winning season with a dismal second campaign in which Chelsea finished outside of the Champions League places.

Tottenham are prepared to stand firm in the face of increased interest in their manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The former Southampton boss - often touted as a potential successor to Jose Mourinho at Manchester United - has three years left on his Spurs contract and on Monday challenged his chairman Daniel Levy to dig deep to provide the funds to take Tottenham to the next level.

The Tottenham manager is understood to be willing to offload Mousa Dembele, Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld and wants to improve his squad with a £150 million transfer budget.

Hazard has stated that Chelsea's signings will need to impress him this summer if he is to stay at Stamford Bridge.

'For me, this is important, not speculation around me.

"I think he has half an incline of that, I wouldn't be surprised if he's heard something and that's why he's throwing all this stuff out - I need that and this".

"I think it's a moment the club needs to take risks and if possible work harder than the previous season to be competitive again". After Saturday, we go on vacation and then we will see next season'.
