"Jim Crow!' By the way, none of you guys lived through [that]", she said to protesters. It now appears that that personal philosophy includes liking the way far-right personality, Candace Owens, thinks. Kanye West is back on Twitter with a bang and not only is he dropping some new music in a matter of weeks, he is also stirring up lots of controversies. However, the good times didn't last too long when on Saturday (April 21) West praised conservative Candace Owens.
Candace Owens, who has been hailed as the next Tomi Lahren, rose to fame as the creator of YouTube channel Red Black Pill.
Well, you can best believe actor Don Cheadle is definitely not a fan of "free thinker" Owens. "How could you try and minimize the sufferance of your fellow black Americans and the entirety of our ancestry just to promote even more baseless social ideologies??" The 28-year-old writer and producer was over the moon about West's tweet and pleaded with him to take a meeting.
Owens said that she wanted to thank West for his words, and that they were an "affirmation" that she needed "to go forward".
Owens pinned a tweet to her timeline clarifying where she stands on the political aisle. Of course, no one knows for sure if Kanye actually agrees with her or just agrees with how freely she's speaking. She's also the communications director of "Turning Point U.S.A", a non-profit right-wing outfit.
She adds: "Black people are the ONLY people in the world who are forced by overly articulate "logic" to forget about the past and this is only done to make sure we have no plans for the future aside from adhering to more prescriptions of life from white supremacy".
