"Riess's mode of operation is to befriend women who resemble her and steal their identity", Marceno said.
Riess then snatched Hutchinson's cash, credit cards and ID, hopped into her white 2005 Honda Acura TL and fled, authorities believe. The auto has been found in Louisiana and Corpus Christi, Texas, as Hutchinson died. Some locals who saw her, informed the police after which the victim was shifted to a medical facility.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday, officers were called to a domestic disturbance on 10th Street in the north end of the city, where a woman alleged she had been pushed around, slapped and choked.
Riess is also wanted in the March death of her husband, David Riess.
Riess is considered armed and unsafe.
Cops discovered David's bullet-riddled body after his anxious business partners reported they hadn't seen him in two weeks. Minnesota's Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose said that police believe exactly the gun has been found in each killings. The partner said no one at work had seen David Riess in over two weeks. They couldn't determine how long he was useless, and his or her wife could not be found by researchers. Authorities later learned she was in south Florida.
