John Stamos and Wife Caitlin McHugh Welcome Their First Child

John Stamos and wife Caitlin McHugh have welcomed their first child together, a little boy.

Named for Stamos' father, Billy holds Stamos' ring finger and lies on his chest while both appear to be taking a nap in the sweet black and white photo. "Welcome Billy Stamos (named after my father)", Stamos captioned a photo of the newborn.

This is John's second marriage - he was previously Wednesday to actress Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005. They had met filming an episode of Law & Order: SVU in 2011, but only started dating a few years later after reuniting on the set of Fuller House.

Stamos first announced he was going to be a father this past December, telling People magazine, "I will be a fun dad".

Stamos married McHugh, 31, on February 3, after dating for two and a half years. Their pregnancy news was announced just two months after they announced their engagement. "I've been practicing for a long time". Stamos noted at the time that he thought he'd run out of time to be a parent.

"We have the same morals and the same values, that all clicked nicely".

"From now on, the best part of me will always be you". "It was the look of a man who has wanted a family of his own but wasn't sure it was going to happen for him". Every day I say, 'You're doing so great, you're doing so great'.
