To top it off, House Jr. finished with a career-best 16 points in the Suns 107-117 loss to the Warriors.
On Monday, Golden State's McCaw offered his first public comments since his injury, which occurred after Kings forward Vince Carter undercut McCaw as he went up for a dunk. There is no timetable for McCaw's return but he was released from the hospital to undergo further rehabilitation.
Give McCaw credit for shutting down any possible issues between the Warriors and Kings. Also, the Thunder have a half-game advantage over the Jazz and a game over the Timberwolves.
"I don't play the game that way", Carter is said to have told reporters after the game, as quoted by AOL. Multiple Warriors players made it clear no one in the locker room believed Carter had tried to hurt McCaw. McCaw's tweet read. "God definitely is watching over me, I'm blessed beyond measure!" However, every Warriors player and coach says there's no way Carter meant to do that, having made his career off high-flying dunks and never being known as a dirty player. McCaw wrote on his official Twitter account.
The first game of Tuesday night's TNT doubleheader will feature the Golden State Warriors traveling to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder. To my coaches, teammates, friends and family I love you guys so much for being there with me!
The Warriors enter the game having won their last two and sit in second place in the Western Conference at 56-21 on the season. Stars Kevin Durant (rib soreness) and Klay Thompson (fractured right thumb) are both listed as probable.
Golden State coach Steve Kerr said he wasn't sure when McCaw would be ready to rejoin the team.
