Following that recent flier leak, WB Games has confirmed the next title from TT Games will in fact be LEGO The Incredibles. Some of you may have just thought it was an idea that sounded fun, even if you didn't actually hear the rumors.
"LEGO The Incredibles offers hours of creative play within an imaginative LEGO version of The Incredibles movies", added Sean William McEvoy, VP, Digital Games & Apps, The LEGO Group.
This summer, fans of The Incredibles won't just be able to watch Brad Bird's sequel to the beloved 2004 Pixar movie - they'll be able to join the family for themselves in the newly announced Lego The Incredibles video game.
LEGO The Incredibles is slated to release for Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on June 15th in Australia, which into the movie release date nicely.
LEGO The Incredibles will arrive on consoles and PC this July.
Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet and Jack-Jack are taking their superhero family to the world of LEGO. In it, players will "take control of their favorite Incredibles characters in unforgettable scenes and action sequences from both Disney Pixar films, The Incredibles and the upcoming Incredibles 2".
A trailer was released alongside the announcement that provides gameplay footage of the main family along with Frozone and Edna.
Disney VP of Games Lisa Anderson said: "Fans of all ages will enjoy this new Incredibles gaming experience".
In addition to tackling story missions to help bring to justice an array of troublesome villains, Lego The Incredibles also features a sprawling hub world linking you to locations such as Municiberg and Nomanisan Island.
