Fans were left on the edge of their seats hoping the couple would get together again, but Tom later revealed they had gone their separate ways. Basically, we assumed that Tom and Abby would be walking off, hand-in-hand, into the sunset to forever live happily ever after.
But then Tom updated the world on his current relationship with Abby on Twitter on February 27.
Arguably, what made Queer Eye the stunning success that it has become was the Tom episode. However, they rekindled the romance every so often and, according to Tom, know that they're ultimately the loves of each other's lives. The fan favorite announced the two are engaged.
Taking to his own Twitter account, the star of the first episode of the show announced that he is now engaged to his ex-wife, Abby.
"It's official, Abby and I are engaged", the truck driver tweeted on Monday along with a picture of him and his bride-to-be. "What a Netflix special [that] would be. If the Fab 5 planned and attended our wedding!", Tom tweeted to his followers.
For anyone who hasn't yet binged watched the show, Tom was the Fab 5's first charge of the season.
Naturally, fans were beyond excited upon hearing the news, with many sharing their well wishes for the couple on social media. They went to a auto show and planned to have dinner together the next week.
Jackson invited the Fab 5 -Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness and Tan France - to be his groomsmen.
