Jaguars to re-sign WR Lee

The Jacksonville Jaguars chose to let top wideout Allen Robinson hit the open market, and they lost him to the Chicago Bears.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have made a decision to pay to keep a wide receiver, but not the one anticipated. And with Robinson out for basically all of last season, he led the team with 56 catches and was second to Keelan Cole with 702 yards. The report indicates Lee's contract is worth a max value of $38 million with $18 million in guaranteed money.

Lee, 26, has spent all four years with the Jaguars after they drafted him in the second round in 2014. After missing most of training camp, all of the preseason and six of the first eight games because of a hamstring injury, Lee finally got healthy and stayed on the field for the Jaguars' final eight games in 2015 - but he caught just 15 passes. Lee earned seven receptions for 69 yards in three playoff games.

With Allen Robinson headed to Chicago, Lee will likely to take on the No. 1 role again this season.
