It will be yet to remember about the Xiaomi which already declared the flash sale date on the last week when this electronic device Xiaomi Mi TV 4 was unveiled.
The company has priced the 43-inch (43SU128) model at Rs 36,999 and the 49-inch (49SU131) and 55-inch (55SU134) at Rs 46,999 and 55,999 respectively.
The new Mi TV 4A series will be targeted towards lower segment and is also "more accessible", according to the Chinese company. The TV will be available for sale via Vu's exclusive online distribution partner Flipkart.com and Vu's flagship stores from March 16, 2018. Both will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Xiaomi's own e-store Mi.com at 12 pm. However, there is no way to download apps on the smart TVs.
Except the screen sizes and resolution, both the models have nearly same internal hardware and support 15 different content partnerships, including those with Sony Liv, Voot, TVF, Hungama Play, Flickstree, Sun NXT, Zee5, Hotstar, Viu and Alt Balaji, across 12 Indic languages, resulting in a huge video content library with 500,000 hours (more than 55 years) of content to watch, of which 80 percent is free. Xiaomi is claiming some fantastic numbers with content as well: 500,00 hours of content spread across 12 Indic languages.
The new TV comes in 32-inch and 43-inch sizes.
The 43-inch model sports a full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display while the 32-inch model has an HD (1366×768 pixels) display. The panel offers a viewing angle of 178-degrees, and has a refresh rate of 60Hz. The Mi TV 4A models are powered by an Amlogic quad-core SoC that's coupled with 1GB of RAM. In terms of launch offers, the Mi TV 4A models come with Rs. 2,200 instant cashback with a JioFi connection. The TV series was launched in India on March 7. The TVs comes with 8GB of internal storage. All three also offer Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and Ethernet connectivity, apart from three HDMI (ARC+CEC) ports, two USB ports (one USB3.0 and one USB2.0), one S/PDIF port, one headphone jack, one AV component port, and one RF input.
Xiaomi is also said to be the presence of DTS-HD that will augment the audio experience of the televisions, apart from two 10W speakers. The company says the audio been optimised for India, in terms of loudness.
