In the past 12 hours, singer Jhene Aiko and her rapper boyfriend Big Sean have been all over social media with people wondering whether rumors were true about the "IDFWU" lyricist cheating on her. "I still love you tho", wrote the Trip musician early Tuesday morning (Mar. 13). The Internet is a wild place.
The Jasmine Brand's "source", who of course was anonymous, implied Big Sean crossed the line: "They were all over each other and they looked really comfortable around each other". Besides sparking interest whenever a new detail is revealed about their relationship, they are also one of the few couples in the genre who have actually created music as a group, with their Twenty88 project from 2016. Sean agreed with the sentiment by quote-tweeting his lady love with clapping emojis.
As with most Internet he said-she said, social media was split and the jokes at both party's expenses were flying. Jhene reportedly confronted her man about it, and Sean "didn't really deny it", the blog added.
Jhene also apparently unfollowed Sean on Instagram, which is like the millennial version of the wine glass to the face routine from every romance movie ever, a very public display of ire and disgust. However, the couple's head-on response to the rumors prove that you can't always believe what you read.
