West Indies are set to become the latest global team to tour Pakistan.
The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi tweeted that all of his family members, friends, government officials and VIPs should buy tickets online or through TCS centres in Lahore and Karachi.
These will be the first worldwide matches in Karachi since the 2009 attacks on the Sri Lanka team bus in Lahore brought global cricket in Pakistan to a virtual halt.
Pakistan has played virtually all its home series in the United Arab Emirates since then.
"I have been working day and night to conclude an agreement with West Indies which I have just finalised an hour ago", Sethi said. Many people were asking if the stadium will be renovated on time and I have been ensuring them that it will be done.
The tour which was set to take place in November a year ago was initially postponed to late March due to "unforeseen circumstances" and has now been postponed further by a couple of days.
The three games, which were initially scheduled to be played in Lahore, will now take place in Karachi.
"The trophy of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be brought to Karachi and ticket sale will start soon", said Najam Sethi.
"Reg DIckason and his men will be here during the PSL final and we have contracted them to oversee the West Indies games as well", Sethi said. This will be a one-off series, since, as I told you before, it will be a loss-making enterprise.
It will be the first global matches in Karachi since Sri Lanka played a Test match in 2009 when the visiting team came under terrorist attack in Lahore and Pakistan became virtually a no go-zone area for foreign teams.
He also made the commitment to bringing Pakistan Super League back to Pakistan in a year or two.
