Russian exile and Putin critic found dead in Britain

The 68-year-old Russian exile admitted feeling next on the "list" after close pal Boris Berezovsky died in 2013 from an apparent suicide.

It added that there was "no evidence to suggest a link to the incident in Salisbury". Kudryavtsev declined to comment further.

Scotland Yard said a man in his 60s was found at a home in Clarence Avenue, New Malden, on Monday and that the cause of his death is unexplained.

Police were quick to suggest there is now no evidence to link the death to events in Salisbury, where the former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were poisoned with a weapons-grade nerve agent that was only ever produced in Russian Federation. Too many bodies are happening. Whilst we believe we know the identity of the deceased, formal identification is yet to take place. His family has been informed and a post-mortem examination will be held in due course. "If there is a change in the status of the investigation, an update will be provided", the Met said.

He told The Guardian: "I'm definite Boris was killed".

Glushkov said: "You have the deaths of Boris and Badri over a short period of time".

Mr Berezovsky was himself found dead on a bathroom floor at his home in southern England in 2013 with a scarf around his neck. His death was not treated as suspicious, but his friends were not convinced and a coroner later recorded an open verdict.

Glushkov came to the United Kingdom after being freed from prison and spoke out against Berezovsky's death claiming he never believed his friend died of natural causes. Natasha is believed to live in the UK.

After another sentencing for fraud, Glushkov also fled to the U.K. Last March, he was charged with allegedly defrauding Aeroflot of $122 million and was sentenced to eight years in jail.
