Mohammad Shami's wife Hasin Jahan seeks security cover from Kolkata police

Although the allegations were more personal in nature than professional, the BCCI chose to play it safe by omitting his name from the new pay scale announcements. She has alleged that her brother-in-law had raped her at the insistence of Shami in 2016 at their ancestral home in Uttar Pradesh. He accepted money from a Pakistani girl named Alisbah in Dubai. "I have proof", Hasin Jahan said. Shami took to social networking site Facebook and wrote, "Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai". Ameeting was scheduled yesterday between Shami's relatives, including his uncle and aunt, and his wife at her lawyer's office at Bankshall court. In a video, Hasin could be seen leaving the spot in a red SUV. "The entire episode is disturbing. She has struggled a lot, too, so I hope she will understand my situation", Hasin said. She is accusing of harassment.

Earlier in shocking allegations, Jahan had accused Shami of domestic violence, several illicit affairs and even match-fixing.

Shami has been slapped with non-bailable charges of domestic abuse and attempt to murder by Kolkata Police following the official complaint.

Hasin on Tuesday also claimed that the cricketer is using different phone numbers to intimidate his wife.

Meanwhile, according to sources and people close to Shami's family, the bone of contention between the couple is not the alleged infidelity of the cricketer rather a farmhouse worth around Rs 12 crore.

"As far as I know, Shami is a great human being". He can not cheat his wife and country.
