No charges of domestic violence were filed against Locklear, but the actor known for her role in the 1990s primetime soap Melrose Place faces five misdemeanor counts: four counts of battery on an officer and one count of resisting or obstructing an officer, according to a report from CNN.
The 56-year-old actress was charged with four misdemeanor counts of battery on a police officer and one count of resisting or obstructing a police officer stemming from a fight she had with her boyfriend February 25, Chris Heisser.
Sgt. Eric Buschow of Ventura County Sheriff's Office told the Los Angeles Times that more police officers had to be called to Locklear's property in Thousand Oaks, California, because she was proving so hard to detain and get into a police patrol auto, becoming "combative" when officers attempted to use force. This charge is considered a felony.
Although the Melrose Place alum hasn't been charged with domestic violence following her late February arrest, the blonde industry vet has been hit with multiple other charges.
The deputies did not observe any injuries on Locklear, but the "Dynasty" star claimed she was hurt and visited a hospital before her booking at Ventura County jail a little after 1 a.m. the next day, authorities said.
During a bail hearing on Tuesday (March 13th), Locklear was also banned from owning any kind of firearm as part of her $20,000 bail conditions, after she allegedly threatened to shoot the officers who were responding that night.
"'You f-- deserve your kids to die!" "'And when you find yourself in that position, think of me!'" Police learned during their investigation that Locklear purchased a gun in 1985 and registered it under her name.
