Bayek will be heading towards the all-new Thebes region. Based on what we've seen of it so far, the development team has been let off the leash - it looks properly mad. The second expansion will be out tomorrow, standalone or as part of the Season Pass. GIve the launch trailer a watch below. But if you prefer undead mummies, Anubis-esque guards, giant scorpions and shed loads of bloody murder, I reckon The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC is more your groove. "The Curse of the Pharaohs focuses on Egyptian mythology, pitting players against famous pharaohs and Egyptian monsters". In the vid, you'll get a brief glimpse at the all-new story, in which Bayek must journey to the ancient capital of Thebes to investigate a awful curse that has blanketed the region.
To combat these new threats, the level cap will be raised to 55, and seven new abilities have been added, including four new archery skills.
For players who have just recently gotten into Assassin's Creed Origins, finishing the main game is not required before accessing the content in The Curse of the Pharaohs. So you will be amazed by what will come on AC:O. Ubisoft does recommend that players be around level 45 though to make sure the DLC is manageable, so you may as well beat the main game anyway at that point. The season pass includes the first released DLC, The Hidden Ones, as well as two customization packs.
Curse of the Pharaohs, the third major expansion for Assassin's Creed Origins, takes Bayek to find a mysterious artifact in Thebes, where he immediately runs into much more than he bargained for.
