Bollywood's comely beauty Rani Mukerji is coming back to cinematic world after a hiatus of three years with Hichki- a movie that encourages people to minus discrimination of all sorts from society and embrace all differences of castes, races, complexions, religions, upbringings, and socio-economic backgrounds with open heart. The title song of the film "Oye Hichki" has finally been released and we see Rani having quite some fun with the kids which teaching us some very valuable life lessons. Sung by Harshdeep Kaur, music by Jasleen Royal and lyrics by Jaideep Sahni, the catchy Oye Hichki song is choreographed by none other than Vaibhavi Merchant. Our identity in society is not because of our colour.
The song was launched at Rani's alma mater, Maneckji Cooper. Then a group of girls, shows the surrounding boys that they can play Football as well.
The song is for promotion and is a part of the ongoing promotional campaigns. The actress will be seen playing the role of Naina Mathur who is a teacher suffering from Tourette syndrome. All they have to is face the troubles head on with utmost positivity and honesty.
Hichki, which is an adaptation of the 2008 Hollywood flick Front of the Class, has been directed by Sidharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma and Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
The film was expected to be released on February 23, 2018 but will now be released on March 23, 2018 due to board exams.
