Florida Governor Rick Scott ordered the immediate lowering of the flags across the state until Monday as a result of the school shooting in Parkland.
According to Florida authorities, 17 people were killed.
Ducey says in a statement issued Thursday that, in his words, "our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and everyone impacted by this horrific tragedy".
"Kentucky joins our nation in mourning the innocent lives lost in the senseless violence this week in South Florida", said Gov. Bevin.
Walker's order follows a directive from the White House to lower all United States flags to half-staff.
Businesses and residents can join IN government offices IN lowering flags to half-staff until sunset on February 19.
Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are encouraged to fly flags at half-staff until sunset on February 19, 2018.
