Falcons' safety Keanu Neal selected to 2018 Pro Bowl roster

According to team reporter Kelsey Conway, safety Keanu Neal will step in to replace Malcolm Jenkins, whose Philadelphia Eagles will be busy facing the New England Patriots at the Super Bowl.

Jenkins will play in Super Bowl LII as the Eagles face the Patriots on February 4. He is the fourth player that has been selected to play in the Pro Bowl for the Falcons this season: WR Julio Jones, C Alex Mack, and LB Deion Jones. Jones was named as replacement for the Panthers Luke Kuechly earlier this month. He now has eight forced fumbles for his career, which are the most forced fumbles by a defensive back in his first two seasons in the NFL.

His 8 forced fumbles through the first two seasons of his career set a new National Football League record for a defensive back. The Falcons drafted Neal in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida. Fast forward to the conclusion of his second season, the city of Atlanta is well satisfied with his efforts as his contributions has led the Falcons' defense to be ranked ninth overall in the NFL.

Neal will head to Orlando, Fla. where the Pro Bowl will be played this Sunday, Jan. 28.
