Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition Announced

Square Enix announced via a press release today that Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition, along with the Windows Edition PC counterpart, will be releasing on March 6.

A fully controllable Royal Vessel boat, allowing players to free roam water areas. Players will also be able to take on the Rulers of Yore. Players will also be able to fish aboard the vessel and discover new fishes and dishes.

In-game accessory to trigger the new "Armiger Unleashed" action. Also, new updated features include an expanded map of Insomnia, a region within the game, new enemies, new side quests and a first-person camera mode. Armiger Unleashed offers a new attack style for the Armiger once you collect all 13 royal arms.

This version of the game will be released worldwide on March 6th, 2018 for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

Over a dozen pieces of DLC, including weapons, Regalia vehicle skins, and item sets. If you already purchased Final Fantasy XV you'll be able to upgrade to the Royal Edition for $19.99. By pre-ordering through Steam, fans will receive the bonus "FFXV Fashion Collection". Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $49.99 starting on March 6 and is now available for pre-order. This purchasable pack allows existing players of Final Fantasy XV to enjoy the new features by applying the pack to the base game.

Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition includes a new dungeon with an expanded map, first person mode, additional gear and bosses, all of the previously released DLC and much more.
