A lot of speculations were ongoing regarding the possible launch day of Samsung's next-generation flagships.
We, right now know nothing about the new Samsung Galaxy S9 specifications at this point in time, though we're not looking for any sort of radical departures from the Galaxy S8. The phone comes equipped with an Infinity screen, which means that much like Samsung's Galaxy S8, the Galaxy A8+ also comes with an edge-to-edge bezel-less display.
CES 2018 has nearly come to an end, which doesn't translate into a good news for those eagerly expecting an announcement from Samsung with regards to the next flagship smartphone - the Galaxy S9. Based on rumors, the Galaxy S9 will come in 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch versions, with Sumer AMOLED curved displays boasting a pixel density of 570 ppi and 529 ppi, respectively.
Most of the rumours and reports suggest that the most noticeable cosmetic change will be a redesign of the fingerprint scanner, which was small and awkwardly positioned on the S8.
Talking about DJ Koh, the company's smartphone chief just have stated and finalized the launch of the new model by Samsung to ZDNet yesterday at CES. The device is powered by an octa core Exynos chipset. "The dual front camera is made up of two separate cameras so you can switch between the two to take the type of selfie you want - from close-ups with the background to portrait shots with a clear and crisp background", according to Samsung.
The camera (or cameras this time) has been one of the strongest area of any Galaxy flagship smartphone. Apple iPhone X is the only smartphone capable of recording 4K video at 60 fps and by adding 120fps support, Samsung will allow for slow-motion videos at high resolution.
