"Bruce Rauner must renounce the support of Missouri Governor Eric Greitens and promise to stop using him in ads", DGA Illinois Communications Director Sam Salustro said in a statement.
Governor Eric Greitens of Missouri denied on Thursday taking nude photos of a woman or threatening to blackmail her over their relationship, an extramarital affair he admitted to late the day before.
"I met Eric a year ago and I instantly had a big crush on him", she is heard saying in the recording. "This was a deeply personal mistake. Eric took responsibility, and we dealt with this together honestly and privately", the statement said.
"This is a three-year-old personal matter that presents no matters of public or legal interest", Greitens' attorney Jim Bennett said in a statement.
The former Navy SEAL who took office a year ago and has been thought to have presidential ambitions admitted Wednesday night - just hours after his State of the State address - to having an affair in 2015.
Al Watkins, the attorney for the woman's ex-husband, says his client told him that Greitens slapped his ex-wife during the affair.
The woman did not give an interview to KMOV. "After further consideration, I have chose to launch an investigation into the alleged actions of Governor Greitens. And he used some sort of tape, I don't what it was, and taped my hands to these rings and then put a blindfold on me".
She added that Greitens later apologized and told her he deleted the photo, according to reports. "So I think we're going to move forward from this".
The woman did not immediately return a call left by The Associated Press at the salon where she worked. Senator Doug Libla (R-Poplar Bluff) is reportedly circulating a letter among lawmakers to send to Attorney General Josh Hawley.

Watkins said the circuit attorney's office was seeking seeking copies of the tape recordings and other evidence.
Earlier Thursday, Greitens' attorney James Bennett released a statement refuting the blackmail allegations and calling the ongoing story a "political hit piece". One Democratic state senator, Jamilah Nasheed, called on the governor to resign in a series of tweets.
The Legislature adjourned Thursday for the long Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.
"Greitens invited her to the Greitens family home and into a guest bedroom".
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the email was sent October 20, 2015, three weeks after Greitens filed papers formally starting his 2016 gubernatorial campaign.
Soni began working at HuffPost in 2012 before leaving the company in May 2014 following an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct involving multiple women, two sources familiar with the situation said.
Ex-Husband: For the first time? "I want the media and those who wish to peddle gossip to stay away from me and my children", Sheena Greitens said in a separate message. Both parties and the people of St. Louis deserve a thorough investigation of these allegations.
Bennett denied that authorities are involved. The claim that this almost three-year-old story has generated or should generate law enforcement interest is completely false. Much of her research focuses on China and North Korea. The couple has two sons, Joshua and Jacob. The governor was married once before and divorced in 2003.
In the recording, the woman said Greitens told her "you're never going to mention my name, otherwise there will be pictures of me everywhere".
