HTC's U11 EYEs will reportedly be released next week

The photos he has leaked photos also reveal a dual selfie camera setup on the U11 EYEs.

Last month, it was reported that HTC is planning to launch just a handful of smartphones this year as it will focus on high-end and mid-range models.

While the HTC U11 EYEs hasn't actually been revealed at this point, Chinese media have already received invitations to an HTC event that is expected to reveal the Harmony. The company is trying very hard to get the market back. At the event, the company is expected to launch HTC U11 EYEs mid-range phone, which is codenamed Harmony.

Is there room for manufacturers outside of Samsung and Apple in the eyes of Americans and Europeans buying flagships? There's no word yet if HTC plans on selling the device in other regions. Even the EYEs device seems to come with a dual lens front facing camera which will justify the Eye branding.

Other rumored specs include an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor from Qualcomm with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage expandable via microSD card. It's not a high-end chip by any means, but it's definitely enough for all but the most intensive tasks. The phone will have a larger 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. According to some rumors, HTC U11 EYEs to be Unveiled on January 15.

Like the U11+, the U11 EYEs has its fingerprint scanner on the back.

However, the phone is said to come in another variant which will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

Meanwhile, the upcoming handset will allegedly also boast an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, HTC's Edge Sense (which will let you squeeze the phone to control some elements), and Android Nougat on board. The availability of this smartphone is still not clear.
