Fox News reported that the singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to slam Winfrey by sharing a pair of images of Winfrey and disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein together. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood (sic)'.
In her speech, Winfrey called out perpetrators of sexual misconduct and harassment in Hollywood saying, "Their time is up!" "Let's just say we've all heard things about each other, haven't we?" Actress and comedian Roseanne Barr told reporters she thought she would make a better president than Winfrey during a press tour for the upcoming reboot of her sitcom, "Roseanne".
"I've been processing the accounts of Harvey Weinstein's disgusting behavior and haven't been able to find the words to articulate the magnitude of the situation", Winfrey said.
According to TMZ, Weinstein said Winfrey encouraged him to defend himself publicly, but her people said they never spoke directly and she was only interested in talking to him for a TV interview.

Soon after Harvey Weinstein was discovered to be a Hollywood predator, the industry began purging itself of men accused of various levels of sexual misconduct. Weinstein said through a spokeswoman that the sex was consensual.
