Up until now, fans in India had been unable to get their hands on the LG V30 Plus unless they imported it from another country.
The company has started sending out the media invites for the launch event, which is scheduled to take place in New Delhi at 11:30 AM.
When it comes to the specifications, the LG V30+ boasts of a 6-inch QHD+ display with a resolution 2880 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. As the name indicates, this device is an upgraded variant of the LG V30 as it comes with 128GB storage space as opposed to the 64GB storage in the V30. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and offers a pixel density of ~537 PPI. Running Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 825 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 64GB/128GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 2TB.
Coming to the camera department, the LG V30+ features a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 16MP primary camera with OIS, EIS, PDAF, f/1.6-aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens and a 13MP secondary camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens and f/1.9 aperture.
The smartphone has a hybrid SIM slot and 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC. The V30 has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and MIL-STD 810G rating for durability. The company claims that the smartphone has passed MIL-STD 810G Transit Drop Test, which makes its compliant for military operations. There's also a 5MP front shooter with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The device has a 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The other connectivity options of the device include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi with dimensions 151.70 x 75.40 x 7.30mm and weight 158 grams.
