The one catch is that LG's OLED 4K TVs' have always been some of the most expensive offerings in their different size categories.
LG has announced that between November 19 and November 27 they will be dropping the price of two OLED 4k TVs for Black Friday.
Pricing on the TVs starts as low as $1,499. This set now sells for $2,599 on LG's website. Both prices represent the best pricing ever for LG OLED in these screen sizes, says the company. The sale starts November 19, so sale prices are not now active. The LG OELD55B7A is on sale for $1,399 and the LG OLED65B7A is offered for $2.149.
LG's OLED TVs are widely considered to be among the best-looking TV sets out there - if not the outright best. Yes, the ultra-premium LG OLED models like the "picture on glass" E7 and G7 or the almost paper-thin hanging W7 model come with far more exotic physical designs and also sport superior sound systems but in terms of how well they perform their core task of showing you your favorite 4K, HDR and other non-4K content, they're no better than their much cheaper C7 and B7 cousins. As mentioned, all ten of its TVs, including the slim B7 and C7 models, the "picture-on-glass" E7, the high-end G7 and wall-mounted, one-tenth-of-an-inch thick W7 LG Signature OLED, will be discounted by varying amounts.
The 2017 LG OLED TVs provide an unrivaled high dynamic range (HDR) experience with support for all major HDR formats, including HDR10, YouTube VP9, Dolby Vision HDR technology and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), assuring compatibility with the most HDR content from streaming and Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. Other features include LG's webOS 3.5 Smart TV system for quick switching between streaming and broadcast TV and LG's Magic Remote. The only thing OLED panels still aren't is fast, so don't count on the TVs for super-accurate gaming performance.
