It's Tuesday and music fans can always be assured that new music or news relating to their favorite musician will be announced on everyone's favorite day of the week. And now, in a new post on Björk's Twitter, we learn the album's release date and see its cover art.
Her caption for the bananas art is deceptively demure: "utopia is coming out 24nov. cover by the talented jesse kanda. jupiterian gratitudes to arca for the musicmaking! hope you like it, björk". Thankfully, it looks like we won't have to wait too long to hear how an Icelandic glacier elf gets her groove back.
The album, which has been co-produced Arca will be released by the One Little Indian label and is Bjork's first record since "Vulcinara". She also shared the album's artwork. The video features Bjork in a Gucci dress that took nearly 870 hours to make.
"Utopia" will arrive on November 24 and follow up 2015's "Vulnicura".
