Vanessa Lachey Suffers Bloody Injury During 'DWTS' Rehearsal

After coming in third place during the season 25 premiere of "Dancing With the Stars", Vanessa Lachey has hit a stumbling block.

The actress was brought to tears after suffering a toe injury during Friday's rehearsal.

Chmerkovskiy wrapped her toe while she sat crying on the floor from the pain. Chmerkovskiy captioned the clip that features himself rehearsing with Lachey inside a dance studio. "That hurts my soul". Usually DWTS contestants don't have to learn more than one dance a week until towards the end of the season, but the couples will be performing one dance Monday night and another Tuesday night.

ABC News reached out to a rep for the ABC dance competition but didn't immediately hear back. I'm so proud of @vanessalachey for delivering a lovely performance last night AND showing up today sore, but inspired and ready to do more! Lachey was called "yummy mummy" by judge Bruno Tonioli after her cha cha with Chmerkovskiy. "And I'm prepared physically and mentally because I have the best coach", Lachey told PEOPLE after their performance on Monday. He said, "Anyone who knows my wife and I we're always competitive and it's been that way since we started dating".
