Michie's parents had been notified of their daughter's location via a WhatsApp map sent by a friend.
Her family also released a statement saying they do not believe there was "any malice" intended towards Louella, after her body was found in the Ambient Forest area of the popular music festival - but said she may have taken an "illegal substance" before her passing.
"Her friends thought she was fine as she was with him".

A family friend, who dropped off flowers at the Michies' home yesterday, said: "The family are too cut up to talk". She never really did drugs.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "An initial post-mortem examination took place on September 11, which showed no clear signs of an assault". Officers were alerted to concerns for the welfare of Ms Michie, who was attending the event, just before 1am on Monday and her body was located following a search. Further tests, including toxicology, will be carried out.
A man arrested on suspicion of murdering the 25-year-old and supplying a Class A drug has been released under investigation, police said last night.
"An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding her death and a cordon is in place on site while forensic examinations are being carried out".

Mr Michie, who plays neurosurgeon Guy Self in BBC drama Holby City, and his wife, former Hot Gossip dancer Carol, 60, have two other children, Daisy and Sam.
In a statement on Monday, modelling agency The Eye Casting said: "It is with profound sadness and shock that we have heard of the death of our handsome model Louella Michie". She added: "We continue to work with the festival organisers and our thoughts are with Louella's family at this extremely hard time".
