Souza has three worldwide caps for Brazil, but has not appeared for them since 2015, and will be hoping a good season in the Premier League could give him the chance to get back into the global frame.

After West Brom's improved offer to cover Souza's loyalty bonus and a better payment upfront, Fenerbahçe have accepted the bid for the Brazilian.

De Souza joined Fenerbahce from Sao Paulo for €8 million in July 2015. During that meeting Hurriyet claim Souza made it clear he was unhappy over the rejected bid, but it seems the South American has got this own way.

West Brom were held to a 1-1 draw by Stoke City in the Premier League on Sunday.
