Luke Shaw's agent Jonathan Barnett has insisted that the full-back is still appreciated at Manchester United despite the England global failing to keep hold of a first-team place with Jose Mourinho's side, according to FourFourTwo.
Shaw is now sidelined with an injury but has returned to first team training after working his rehabilitation separately on the pre-seaosn tour.
There's a slim chance Mourinho will actually let Shaw leave after backing him to have a big career at Old Trafford, but if he sees an opportunity, he could try and quicken a deal for Rose, especially after a hard transfer window. Along with Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo, Shaw has missed the Red Devils' pre-season fixtures, but the trio travelled with the squad to the United States.
It may take a little adjustment for Shaw at Tottenham, but his form under Pochettino at Southampton was terrific and earned him a big money move to United in the first place.

However, Shaw's representative Jonathan Barnett stressed that his client also loves United and backed the England worldwide to be one of the best left-backs in the world.
"Luke Shaw is going to be one of the best left-backs in the world", he told IBTimesUK.
The Daily Record says Mourinho is desperate to sign a new left-back this summer.
Manchester United are keen on Rose, a move which would pose questions over the long term future of Luke Shaw.
