Pogba explains what Man Utd must do to be considered 'big' again

The Premier League springs back into life this weekend after a summer of transfers and ahead of the new season, former Everton and Manchester United manager David Moyes has given a luke warm assessment of United star Paul Pogba.

The midfielder made a big money move back to Old Trafford last summer and helped the club to League Cup and Europa League glory, with the latter securing them a spot back in the Champions League. I will say we are Manchester United and we want to come back to the big Man United and win more trophies than last season.

"I had to work for it but the finale is that he's here, he's with us and he's banging in goals".

Veron moved to Manchester United in a then club-record £30m deal from Serie A champions Lazio in 2001 after the midfielder helped the Super Eagles to win the Italian title under Sven Goran-Eriksson.

However, the 24-year-old has the backing of manager Mourinho, who thinks he is at the same level as the players at Barcelona and Real Madrid, having competed against them in pre-season friendlies before the start of the season. "I don't know if Pogba's that".

"Well, bringing Marouane Fellaini was part of what I hoped he would come to United and play in different games".

"I think he's a top player, I don't know if he's a player who completely makes a difference for Manchester United".

'I think he's a good player, I think he'll add to Manchester United, but will he make the difference?

Giggs, speaking at the FA and McDonald's Community Awards, added: "I think Pogba is capable of dropping deep or playing in an old-fashioned midfield two and I expect him to be more effective this year".

"It's very important for us that our strikers score goals", Matic told MUTV.

United open their Premier League season at home to West Ham on Sunday. "But I am happy for him that he scored a goal after that and I'm sure that he will continue to score goals and that he will score many this season". "Winning everything!" the France worldwide told Sky Sports. "And I do think he's a good player, but I'm not quite sure if he'll make the difference in key games".
