"#Overwatch" hero #Roadhog and #Junkrat are in dire need of some buffs and Blizzard had recently responded to fans.
However, this isn't the only thing that's coming to the PTR as he claimed that the Roadhog and Junkrat changes are also arriving along with it. Blizzard also seems to have more changes in store as his quote reads, "This [crosshair] option will be tested when the PTR comes up (this also has Roadhog, Junkrat changes - and more)". In this change, though, Take a Breather can now be used while moving, and damage taken while healing has been reduced by 50%.
"These changes help Roadhog be much more aggressive when looking for hook targets or blocking for his team. The combination of these effects significantly increases Roadhog's sustainability and survivability", Blizzard explained.
Roadhog's partner gains some versatility with this update.
As for Junkrat, you can probably expect his concussion mine ability to have two charges before the cool down, rather than one.
Junkrat can now carry up to two of his Concussion Mines, and his ultimate ability, Rip Tire, now moves faster by 30 percent and no longer has a time limit while wall climbing.
"RIP-Tire's damage has always been very good, but it was often hard to steer the tire into position before it was destroyed". In regards to the Riptire, though, this was changed because it was often hard to steer it before it was destroyed, so making it faster should make it more effective more often, plus leave Junkrat himself vulnerable for a shorter time.
Overwatch update: What PTR changes are on the way for Roadhog and Junkrat? Meanwhile, her Venom Mine gets the added bonus of making affected targets visible through walls. The PTR notes claim that Widowmaker can be pretty strong in the right hands, but overall, her abilities seemed weak.
"The Grappling Hook cooldown reduction means she is more likely to have it available when she needs to escape".
Like a smaller version of her ultimate ability, Widowmaker's Venom Mine will now be able to spot enemies who trigger the trap, even if they're behind walls.
The protective barrier Orisa erects has had its sizes increased by 20 percent and its shape altered to protect against enemies from below.
Developer Comments: The projectile speed increase helps Orisa's consistency, especially at medium ranges (or further). According to the devs, the new shape should help her out more when defending certain objectives such as when she's escorting the payloads.
