Jake Paul's West Hollywood neighbors are not happy. Paul and the band of influencers that make up his social media group Team 10, regularly record videos and do stunts around Paul's house. The social media star set fire to a pile of furniture that he put inside his empty pool, KTLA Channel 5 reported.
Paul does little to hide his address from his hordes of adoring young fans, and crowds of mostly teenage girls were filmed by KTLA5 milling around outside the property.
"My neighbours hate me, but I'm still going to send it", he said, staring directly down the barrel of the network's TV camera before doing a wheelie down the street on a motorbike. When the KTLA reporter further questions Paul about the antics surrounding his home and the neighbor's complaints Paul replies, "Yeah, it is like that".
"We use to be a nice quiet street, and now were just this war zone", one resident told KTLA, who was covering the story.
"I want to be the Dr. Dre of social media", Paul told People a year ago.
At one point in the news segment, Paul came outside to "greet" the reporter, but eventually ended up on top of the news van despite being told that he shouldn't. "There's nothing that we can do though, the Jake Paul army is the strongest out there".
"It's awful, it's a bad situation", he added, after the reporter pointed out that many of his neighbours were genuinely upset.
Next week, Paul's neighbours will meet with city leaders and police and code enforcement officials before deciding whether to file a lawsuit against him.
Paul was recently accused of emotionally abusing his ex-girlfriend, another social media star named Alissa Violet who described Paul's action in a statement saying, "He would play all these mind games". Kid, I am old as shit compared to you and even I know that "what are thoooooooose?" belongs in 2015.
