Android Police, which has an exceptional track record, has delivered the renders which show a dramatically redesigned phone which can proudly stand toe-to-toe with the Galaxy S8 and what we expect will be Apple's overhauled iPhone 8 designs, Forbes reported.
Android Police has an exclusive first look at this year's larger Google Pixel.
According to the publication, the information they have gathered is apparently from a number of "extremely reliable" sources, which has revealed to them that the devices will indeed be coming with a "squeeze" feature. At the front of the Pixel, fans can see a similar minimum bezel display, that's become the trend for 2017.
Google's second iteration of its Pixel devices have been revealed to be manufactured by LG and HTC. The device also sports a fingerprint scanner at the rear that looks to be identical to the ones found on its predecessor.
Looking at the device's front, fans can see a large speaker grill, that might also double up to provide stereo sound. While HTC's Edge Sense featured customizable functions, the squeezable edges in Pixel will instead be dedicated for a single task, i.e.to activate Google Assistant.
With that being said, it would be of no surprise if Pixel XL 2, the bigger one, pulls out yet another G6 in terms of its design. The company is expected to immediately follow it up with new high-end sequel models, tentatively called the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
