While the rumors surrounding Samsung's foray into the IoT for homes has been spreading like wild fire, new reports confirm that the company is planning on bringing Bixby to homes to take on Amazon, Google, and now Siri, who have already taken over a major chunk of the market share. These are just the existing players, the rest of the competition would be coming with Microsoft's Cortana-based speaker that would launch in the fall, this year.
The English version of Samsung's Bixby has run into unforeseen problems and won't be released in the near future. Samsung said that Bixby would be introduced after the second half of July. Before it began work on Vega, it had previously planned to launch another speaker - codenamed "Hive" - at Mobile World Congress 2015. It has come to the news that Bixby is stumbling with grammatical issues and nuances of the English language.
