April's good but "active" night appeared to have been caused by the possibility of a few contractions Friday night into Saturday, but Animal Adventure Park said it can not confirm she did have contractions.
In Thursday night's update, the zoo also said April appears "a little more on edge" and is "not being as lovely as usual". Her keeper and vet documented "increased tail raising and holding", as well as "periods of increased movement/pace" Wednesday night.
There is of course an upside to all this publicity: a Go-Fund Me page has raised $25,725 (£21,039) for the new family - including first time dad Oliver, five - in just seven days. "A cold front is moving in so, perhaps that will shake things up".
For now, mom and son are getting time to bond in private, out of public view in the zoo's giraffe house. It garnered hundreds of shares and comments from viewers who are excited to see April give birth.
As of Friday morning, United Kingdom time, the latest live stream - set up on 24 February - has had nearly 20 million views, with the accumulative time racked up by viewers equating to a somewhat staggering 1,036 years.

The baby will not remain with the mother for long, though. "We can not retain offspring, as it would lead to incestuous mating and undermine the genetics of the program and species".
The Denver Zoo's giraffe, Kipele, and baby Dobby.
But while the world waits for April's calf to finally turn up - and after a 15-month gestation period, one can only imagine she is among the most keen for it to be over - another giraffe chose to take its opportunity.
