Raees is unstoppable and has grossed double than that of Kaabil in the worldwide collection.
Raees had it not faced competition from Kaabil could have easily earned over 40 crore on its opening day. However, the film is holding its own despite facing the brunt of a box office clash.

On its first day in the theatres (Wednesday, 25 January 2017), Kaabil managed to garner Rs 10.43 crores. Shah Rukh Khan's perfection and Nawazzuddin great acting were called the success point of Raees.

They are succumbing to pressure tactics over a film (Baahubali) which will release in March.
In Raees, Shah Rukh Khan plays a gangster from Gujarat while Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the cop. The ratio of screens promised was 50: 50.
